Headquarters Location & How to Reach

Conveniently situated in Bankura town right beside Gobindanagar Bus Stand.

🚌 By Bus (Gobindanagar Bus Stand)

The academy is just 200 meters (2 minutes walk) from Gobindanagar Bus Stand, with direct buses from Kolkata (Esplanade/Karunamoyee), Durgapur, Asansol, and Purulia.

🚆 By Train (Bankura Junction — BQA)

Bankura Junction is located approximately 2.5 km from the office. Regular auto-rickshaws, toto (e-rickshaws), and taxis connect directly to Gobindanagar / Srinagar Pally.

🧗 Susunia Training Camp Base

Susunia Hill is 21 km northwest of Bankura town. Trainees assemble at Bankura headquarters before traveling together in academy-arranged vehicles to Susunia base camp.

Any person aged 8 years and above with good health and a sportive spirit is eligible. For children aged 8 to 14, we offer the Nature Study & Junior Adventure Camp. For individuals aged 14 and above (including college students and working adults), we conduct the technical Rock Climbing Course (RCC).
No! BENA provides all technical climbing equipment, including certified dynamic ropes, climbing harnesses, carabiners, descenders, safety helmets, and camping tents. Trainees only need to bring personal clothing, comfortable rubber-soled sports shoes, a water bottle, and bedding as outlined in our "Things to Carry" checklist.
Every participant must submit the Medical Fitness Certificate included in the official registration form, signed by a registered medical practitioner (MBBS/BAMS). Candidates must be free from acute cardiac ailments, severe asthma, epilepsy, or unhealed bone fractures.
Yes! We regularly customize 2-day to 4-day outdoor leadership and nature education camps for schools, universities, NCC units, and corporate teams. Contact our secretary at +91 9434428494 to discuss dates and custom requirements.
